New Online Catalog update

  • We created a new layout for itens without pictures.
  • If a customer has already added a product in the cart and afterwards the shopkeeper deletes it, the customer will not be able to order with this item.
  • Even with the link of the item, if it is deleted, it will be impossible to add it to the shopping cart.
  • Deleted items cannot longer be accessed, even if a client uses the link to this specific item.

This version of Kyte includes

  • Improvement on the data tracking system that will allow us to make better marketing campaigns.
  • We removed the button on the subscription screen that took Android users to see other payment options.

This version of the Online Catalog has 3 small fixes:

  • A message informing the website uses cookies was shown every time the catalog was opened. Now, it is only shown once.
  • The description of products broke in the middle when the catalog was accessed on devices with small screens. Now it doesn't matter the size of the screen, you and your customers will be able to read the description correctly.
  • The highlightsproduct tab was shown in Portuguese. That was also fixed.

This update brings two big news:

  • Facebook Pixel! You will now be able to use Pixel to create ads within Facebook and Instagram and thus increase your online catalog sales.
  • Food ordering: It's a new function that allows the integration of stores in the food sector with Facebook and Instagram, to accept orders directly through these social networks.
  • We also fixed a minor error in the PDF receipt that occurred on some devices.

The latest version of the Online Catalog has the following improvements:

  • Categories bar is now fixed on the screen. As custmers slide down to see your products, they'll see the categories on the top of the screen.
  • Category ordering: They appear ordered the same way they are in the App!

We've updated the Online Catalog with some bug fixes, and getting it ready to work with Facebook Pixel!

  • Add to cart button sometimes failed on items with many photos.
  • Sorting items by price was not considering promotional price.
  • The discount product tag was not shown when catalog was accessed via PC.
  • We've Prepared the catalog so it can support Facebook Pixel! (You will be able to use Pixel after the app is updated to version 1.25.6)

This new version of Kyte has corrections to several bugs, among them:

  • In some situations, the categories were not displayed.
  • Problems when changing the password, when the account had been created through social networks.
  • Sometimes the sale note could not be deleted.
  • Some buttons were not working correctly.
  • Register new product by the code reader did not work.
  • Note of the sale was always displayed on the receipt, even when selecting not to show it.
  • When adding a new product from a category menu, the category did not save.
  • When sharing a product image, the category did not appear in the shared image.
  • We’ve included a new payment method to Subscribe to Kyte PRO: Google Pay is now available for Android devices!

This version of the catalog had two minor fixes:

  • When registering a new customer, the flag that signals the customer's country was not displayed
  • The field to enter the weight of items was not displaying the "amount" tag.

This version contains updates for two systems that we use internally to help us do a better job, and bring new features to you :)

  • Crashlytics update, which captures any errors that may happen in customer accounts, and allows our development team to resolve errors even before users report them.
  • Adjust history creation. This system helps our Marketing team know which campaigns gave the best results.

This version has several minor bug fixes that have accumulated in the last few months. These include:

  • We implemented translations that were missing
  • We fixed the problem when importing contacts from the phone, as not all names were saved
  • We corrected the navigation using the back button
  • The problem when saving items from code reader was also corrected
  • CSV reports now support all languages
  • Outdated customer balance data, when accessing it for the transaction
  • Other minor fixes.

In this update, we've optimized the notifications service so that you receive them in real time, when the customer submits the order. We also fixed an error that happened when editing an order directly from the notification.

  • Corrected the issue when editing an order by tapping on the notification and the app wouldn't return to the Orders menu.

Several fixes were added to this version of Kyte.

  • Correction of the order products appear in the Checkout menu.
  • The source of the customer list is the same as always.
  • The return button no longer redirects your to the last sale receipt. This issue was happening only in Android devices.
  • We fixed the bugs happening when switching categories on the Checkout menu or adding new items directly to categories.

Access your Kyte in landscape view in tablets! The new design has more screen space, more dynamic interactions while retaining the features and functionality you already know. Plus, the total per day and searches are back in your sales history!

  • It is now possible to use a tablet-optimized version of Kyte. The new design features more screen space, more dynamic interactions.
  • The total sales per day and searches are back in the Transactions menu.
  • The store header and address were not showing on the printed receipt.
  • When editing the unit price of the product in the cart, the new value will no longer appear crossed out on the receipt.
  • The identification code for transactions generated in the catalog was being displayed incorrectly. Catalog orders will now appear with a letter C in front of the order number, for example, '#c-130'.

Access all sales made since the day you created your Kyte account, simply connect to the internet and search for them by transaction number.

  • We added an event tracker on the cart and checkout to analyse better the choices made by users during the ordering process.
  • Login issues and faulty resolution on the product details pages, at checkout, on page headers and the search field when accessing online catalogs in devices with larger screens.
  • Error when editing products sold in fractions in directly in the cart.
  • Unknown error messsage when completing an order on the online catalog.

We've improved catalog performance to accommodate the multiple delivery rates feature.

  • We've changed the dimensions of the delivery rates modal so it doesn't freeze when the online catalog is accessed on smartphones.
  • We have also restored the action of the Order on WhatsApp button located in the product details.

  • The new version offers more options for rates for deliveries and shipping. Like order statuses, they can be customized according to the needs of your business and chosen by your customers before completing their orders in the catalog. Same great online catalog but with a fresh new look.

  • We removed the HTML codes that appeared in the product's description.
  • The option to enter the desired quantity in products sold by weight is appearing again in pop-up format.
  • We've fixed the display of order statuses and product descriptions in the mobile version of the catalog, failures during product data reload and some translated terms in the desktop version as well.
  • The option to insert the amount wanted in products sold by weight is appearing as a pop up again.

We continue to focus on small errors that hinder the use of the app on a daily basis.

This version brings corrections of:

  • Errors in updating Business Information;
  • Users being created with no name and unable to reset passwords;
  • Incorrect payment methods displayed in receipt sent by email and shown in orders not yet completed as sales;
  • Faulty filter in Analytics and on the Stock tab of the Products menu;
  • Users without permission accessing reports and creating new products directly on the cart;
  • Sales being completed with a total higher than the amount available in Store Credit.

Online catalog integrated with Facebook, Instagram and now with Google Shopping too.

  • We integrated the app with Google Shopping to expand the online presence of your business and boost your sales.
  • The Orders menu will remain active even if there are no new orders. Updates will appear in the green badge on the left of the menu.
  • We added a tracker to better understand sign-in failures on Kyte accounts. Do not worry as it is an internal process and won't affect the use of the app.

We uploaded a quick fix to the catalog.

  • Some shops were in English regardless of the region where customers were accessing them from. With this correction, the catalog will use the language set by the browser.

Highlight your products so you they are the first thing your customers see when they access your catalog.

  • You can now highlight your products, just add a ⭐ and they will ascend to the top of the list in the catalog and at Checkout in the app.
  • In order to offer greater stability to the catalog, every change and update made will be uploaded together so they can take up to 5 minutes to be completed.

  • At the request of (all) users, we included more image slots per product on the catalog. We thank you all for the patience!
  • We are no longer integrated with SumUp outside of Brazil but the card readers remain in use and the sales can be completed manually on the app.

  • There is now a new notification service to keep everyone on top of improvements and news in the app.
  • The first impression is what remains, which is why we have improved the interaction of the new Kyters with the app already in the first days of testing.
  • Notifications are back! Orders made using the catalog will be norified, with audio and visual signals.

  • We created a guide for new Kyte users to make the first steps in the app easier.
  • A "slide down to update" feature was added to the Inventory tab in the Products menu, to force update the data with the server.

  • The store's logo is appearing again on PDF receipts.
  • When opening orders by tapping on the notification, product information is no longer lost and inventory is updated correctly.
