Hi đź‘‹
How can we help you?

Facebook and Instagram Integration

The steps below will need to be completed on Facebook's web browser version. The mobile app version of Facebook doesn't have the same features. If you haven't created your facebook Page, please tap here

1. CREATING A SHOP FOR YOUR FACEBOOK PAGE:

  • Tap on your business page under the YOUR SHORTCUTS tab in the left Menu. Then, tap on MANAGE SHOP
  • Tap on START SHOP SETUP
  • Read the summary, and then tap on NEXT
  • Choose CHECKOUT ON ANOTHER WEBSITE and tap on NEXT
  • Provide your business details (name and email) and tap on NEXT
  • Create your catalog giving it your business name, check the box to agree with the terms and tap on NEXT
  • If you don’t need to make any changes, check the box to agree with the terms and tap on SUBMIT SHOP FOR REVIEW. You’ll be notified once your request is reviewed

IMPORTANT: While you wait for Facebook to review your request, make sure to set up your page completely, by following the steps that'll be displayed on your page's main screen (Facebook will give you hints of everything that still needs to be done in order to finish setting up your Business Page, such as the address, the phone number and business e-mail, and so on). Also, don't forget to add the SHOP NOW button, to redirect the visitors to your Kyte Catalog. This is very important and it'll be taken into account by the Instagram team that'll review your request to be approved for Instagram Shopping later on.
‍

2. UPLOADING YOUR KYTE CATALOG TO FACEBOOK:

  • Open up Facebook and tap on your Business Page shortcut at the bottom left. Then tap on MANAGE SHOP
  • Tap on GO TO COMMERCE MANAGER

‍

  • Tap on DATA SOURCES in the left menu
  • Tap on ADD PRODUCTS at the top right of the screen
  • Choose the USE BULK UPLOAD option
  • Choose the SCHEDULED FEED option
  • Enter your catalog’s URL. Don’t forget to include /feed at the end of the link. For example: https://eat-healthy.kyte.site/feed
  • Schedule the frequency for Facebook to sync up with your Kyte Catalog’s info (choose a shorter period in case you usually receive a high volume of orders in your catalog, so Facebook will be always kept up to date)
  • Name your catalog as you wish, and pick the currency
  • The upload will start. Once it’s done, you may check for eventual issues or errors and that’s it for now. Your Facebook Shop is now displaying all your products from your Kyte Catalog

3. VERIFYING YOUR DOMAIN ON FACEBOOK:

  • Open up Facebook and tap on your Business Page shortcut at the bottom left. Then, Tap on MANAGE SHOP.
  • Tap on GO TO COMMERCE MANAGER
  • In the COMMERCE tab, tap on SETTINGS at the bottom left of the screen
  • Tap on BUSINESS SETTINGS in the left menu
  • Tap on DOMAINS under the BRAND SAFETY tab
  • Tap on ADD at the center of the screen
  • Paste your catalog’s URL onto the DOMAIN NAME field and tap on ADD DOMAIN (you may need to refresh the page after the domain is added)
  • Go to the HTML FILE UPLOAD in the top menu, and just tap on VERIFY (don’t worry about all those nerdy steps, we’ve got you covered already)
  • Once Facebook shows you the approval message, you’re all set! You’re now eligible to request Instagram to enable Instagram Shopping option for your account
