How to manage the pay later and accounts with Kyte

‍

Setting up the pay later resource in Kyte

‍

Activate the pay later resource in your account. On the Settings tab, tap General and at the bottom of the page, tap Allow customers to pay later.

‍

‍

Even after it has been activated in the account, you will have to allow your staff access to the resource. Activate the permission in the Users menu. Just select the user and on the Permissions tab and tap on Allow Pay Later.

‍

‍

⚠ For the changes to appear on the person’s app, it is necessary for them to log out and back into the account. ⚠

‍

Customers must also have this option enabled on their accounts. To do this, go to the Customers menu, select the person in question and at the end of the page click on Allow customer to pay later.

‍

‍

If you are placing an order and have not yet activated this option for the customer, don't worry. It is possible to enable it directly in the cart before completing the sale.

‍

‍

Using the pay later feature

‍

Sales made using pay later will be completed immediately so you can provide the customers with a proof of purchase, just like any other payment method selected in the cart. The management of debits and payments will be done in each customer's profile in the app's Customers menu.

At the bottom of the screen, there will be a summary of the total amount owed and received. If you want to see only those who have debts to pay, just click on Receivables at the top of the list of names. All changes are updated in real time, as long as your device is connected to the internet. It is worth noting that the amount seen is the total owed as it is not organized by transaction in the customers profiles.

‍

‍

To settle what is owed, select the customer in question and on the Account tab, click Pay Balance.

‍

‍

If you need to make a correction, use the Balance Update option and take advantage of the notes field to help with your internal control. With this function, it is possible to add promo codes or cashback credits for your loyalty programs. 😎
