You start by answering one question at a time: what was the reason for your last contact, whether it was restock, add-on, seasonal, or new arrival, who received the message, why that customer or group was chosen for that reason, and how many contacts that same customer or group has received in the last week or campaign. The tutor uses your answers to know exactly where to focus.
If the reason is something like "just to remind them the store exists," with no link to any of the four valid reasons, it teaches only that: the four reasons, and nothing else. If the reason is real but the recipient was "all customers," it focuses on matching the reason to who actually fits it. If the reason and recipient already match but there is no control over how many times that customer was contacted, it sets the limit of one or two contacts per week or campaign. It compares this to calling a friend: you call when you have something real to say, you do not call everyone with the same subject, and you do not call again if you already called this week.
At the end, it asks you to rebuild the reasoning in your own words: which of the four reasons you would use to talk to a real customer or group from your store right now, who exactly would receive that message, and what contact limit you would respect this week or campaign. When you come back, the tutor asks what the reason for the contact was, who received it, and what frequency was respected, fixing only the part that got stuck.
